About us
Smarter networking decisions start with better information.

Why we exist
Our mission
Router buying is harder than it should be. Spec sheets use incompatible terminology, marketing blurbs hide real limitations, and benchmarks are rarely reproducible. We built RouterArena to be the resource we wished existed: one place where every router's specs, features, and real-world performance are captured in a consistent, comparable format.
We are reader-supported through unobtrusive advertising and affiliate links. Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial ones — if a product is bad, we say so.
RouterArena is owned and operated by SoFloWare.

How we work
Our values
Independent
No manufacturer has editorial influence. Review units — when we receive them — are returned after testing and never retained as personal equipment.
Transparent
Affiliate links are labeled. Data sources are credited. Corrections are published publicly, not quietly rolled out.
Structured
Every router is captured in the same spec schema so comparisons are meaningful. We hate spec sheets that hide what matters.
Practical
We care about the network you use, not the one manufacturers demo. Real households, real interference, real devices.
Have a question or a tip?
Spot-checks, partnership inquiries, and spec corrections all welcome — we read every message.
